David was unable to process some orders

Sorry for any inconvenience caused, but a couple of days a go I recommended a new automated traffic system.

It's been a massive success, but I've been contacted by so many people asking why they could not access the site yesterday.

I contacted David Lockley who explained there had been a technical issue caused by the sheer popularity of his unique traffic system.

I'm happy to advise that they have taken on more servers and bandwidth to cope with demand, David's Traffic System is available once again.

Website Owners ...New Traffic Trick

Traffic ... we all know it's the absolute lifeblood of our business. And we both
know that you can never have too much of it! The challenge of course is how to get it ... to get 'gobs' of it .. and to get it without busting open the kids piggy bank.

You also want it to last .. no flash in the pan (anyone remember the 'Pet Rock' .. now that was a flash in the pan).

Now you've probably seen all the gimmicks and crazy junk out there. And frankly, some of it does in fact work really well. It just doesn't work really well for more than a handful of people.

Bottom line is that you need something that'll work for you. That'll work for a long time and will work without a Bill Gates like checking account.

Every once in awhile, a truly unique idea comes along that makes you think, "why didn't I think of that" because it's so easy and down right neat.

This is one of those items:

=> It's simple
=> It's straight forward
=> Literally anyone can do this
=> ... and it works.

When I tried this myself, I have to admit that I actual giggled out loud .. good thing only my dog was there to here it ...LOL.

Go take a peek at this yourself. I had to read through the info twice before it made sense to me but you'll get it. Take a peek now.

Unique Traffic Tool

Sincerely,

Justin

P.S. This is meant for people that already have a website but if think you might have one in the future, you should look at this too.

Forum Marketing Basics

If you are serious about promoting your website on the Internet, then utilizing forums is your best option. Forums are easy to join and require no additional fees to become a member. Moreover, as stores of information accessible to anyone, forums are an ideal way to advertise your website.

Forums serve as social networking centers where topics are discussed and information exchanged. Therefore if one can search out a forum where discussions held are relevant to one's own product or field, then his or her chances of getting their website noticed and popularized would be greater. So this should be the first step towards establishing your identity on the Internet.

But remember that with all kinds of marketing…finesse is everything. Do NOT overdo anything in your enthusiasm. It is best to act calm and not seem desperate to market your product. Such overeagerness is often the most surefire way of offending customer sensibility, leading to possibly having your website banned with the allegation of spamming.

Therefore it is better to leave frequent yet understated messages informing what’s being offered or rather go to forums that have questions regarding matters related to your product and respond to them. So go ahead and read the threads posted on the forum, figure out how best you can respond to queries and do that.

This is will help you build a customer base when people on the forum trust you to be helpful and genuine. Once that is done, all you have to do is subtly lead them to your website and that is that.

This is an easy and profitable option for you because it is absolutely free and targeting a certain niche clientele is very easy. But try and avoid promoting your website on irrelevant platforms as it might hamper your reputation (allegations of spamming). So do it casually and always follow up and enquire about whether the directed person found your website helpful or not.

This is a great way to get feedback, which will help improve your site, build client rapport, and woo new customers towards your site while showing attentiveness to their likes and dislikes. But finally the most important thinh to keep in mind is that though beneficial for marketing, these platforms are for discussion and not sales. So be subtle and it will be a smooth sailing for you.

Antarctic glaciers surge to ocean

Article by Skywatch-Media News at Earth News

Antarctica: Earth Changes

UK scientists working in Antarctica have found some of the clearest evidence yet of instabilities in the ice of part of West Antarctica. If the trend continues, they say, it could lead to a significant rise in global sea level.

The new evidence comes from a group of glaciers covering an area the size of Texas, in a remote and seldom visited part of West Antarctica.

The "rivers of ice" have surged sharply in speed towards the ocean. David Vaughan, of the British Antarctic Survey, explained: "It has been called the weak underbelly of the West Antarctic Ice Sheet, and the reason for that is that this is the area where the bed beneath the ice sheet dips down steepest towards the interior. "If there is a feedback mechanism to make the ice sheet unstable, it will be most unstable in this region."

There is good reason to be concerned.

Satellite measurements have shown that three huge glaciers here have been speeding up for more than a decade. The biggest of the glaciers, the Pine Island Glacier, is causing the most concern.

Disney To No Longer Scan For Flashers

ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Disney says it will no longer scan riders on Splash Mountain and three other rides for guests who feel the need to flash their breasts for souvenir photos.

Disney confirmed Tuesday that it has reassigned employees at Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure who watched for breast-baring riders because "actual inappropriate behaviors by guests are rare."

Disneyland spokeswoman Suzi Brown says the changes took effect Sunday at Splash Mountain, Tower of Terror, Space Mountain and California Screamin'.

Riders are photographed on the attractions and can then buy souvenir copies. Some have exposed their breasts in hopes that the picture would make it onto a photo preview screen at the ride's exit.

The company began the screening about 10 years ago.

Try these three exercises if you really want to get your stomach ready to look good in a bikini

All three will only take a total of 15 minutes, but can really have an impact on how you look! They are easy to do and target exactly the muscles you want to hit if you want to get hit on at the beach.

1.) Purchase an exercise ball (found in any sporting goods store). Lie on your back on the ball and make yourself comfortable. Place your hands behind your head while keeping your back and neck straight. Don't pull on your head! Instead, contract your abdominal muscles so you are performing crunches on the ball. Do this for five minutes.

2.) Lie on the floor on your back, and then lift your legs up to as close to a 90-degree angle as you can. Once you've lifted your legs as high as you can, lower them very slowly to the ground. Repeat this process for five minutes. As you do this exercise more and more often, you should be able to lower your legs more and more slowly.

3.) Pick up a broom and then sit on a chair. Hold the broomstick across your back, making sure that your elbows are bent at a 90-degree angle. Make sure you are holding the broomstick with your hands and not your back or shoulders. Without moving your hips, rotate your upper body right and left as far as you can. Keep this up for about five minutes. As time goes on, you should be able to move your body back and forth further and further.

What We Give

Lately, I have been blogging at least once a day, although I didn't this past weekend.

I find it interesting that my readership has not dropped off much despite of that.

I think less blogging coincides with many people taking vacations so the 2 go hand in hand.

A friend of mine attended a fund raiser for the Guelph General Hospital last week at the home of Frank and Margaret Hasenfratz from Linamar. Frank gave a short speech and used the following quotation:

"We make a living by what we get; we make life by what we give"--Sir Winston Churchill (1874 - 1965).

A good quotation and good words to live by.

Unprecedented Fish Kill in Greece

Article by Skywatch-Media News at Mediterranean

Menidi, Greece, February 29, 2008

A man stands in front of a cage full of dead fish at a farm off the coast in the Gulf of Amvrakikos, about 217 miles (350 kilometers) northeast of Athens.

Around 800 tons of fish, including sea bass and sea bream, died from lack of oxygen, according to the AFP news agency.

"This is an unprecedented incident in Greece and probably in the whole Mediterranean basin," Sotiris Saxamis, deputy prefect of Aitolías Kai Akarnanias province, told AFP.

Local marine biologist Vangelis Dimitriou told the Reuters news agency that the fish may have died after swimming through a large pocket of water where the temperatures suddenly dropped, depriving the fish of oxygen.

Most Scouts favour sex before marriage

More than 80% of those questioned said they were happy to get drunk and almost half said they would smoke marijuana if offered.

"The problem is their everyday lives. At school and in their free time, they behave just like their friends, and not just sexually. A significant part has little confidence in politicians, and does not respect the rules of society."

Nine in 10 Scouts favour sex before marriage.

Is it unsurprising then that we live in a collective if deluded perception of drugs, boy racers and sensible sentencing.?

Dancing With The Stars elimination and the Jonas Brothers perform

Dancing With The Stars dragged the first time elimination of two contestants over a two back to back one hour shows.

At that rate they should have eliminated 6 people from the show.

In the end there was no surprise as Penn Jillette and Monica Seles were shown the door and even walking out. It was obvious they had no rhythm whatsoever.

The Jonas Brothers performed during the episode - good timing considering their concert tickets just went on sale and they are the hottest searched term on Google.

PayPal Launches Storefront Widget

PayPal has launched the PayPal Storefront Widget, a web-based widget that allows anyone to embed a store widget on a web site.

The Storefront widget offers a seamless e-commerce platform for those wishing to sell anything on their site, such as t-shirts, CDs or other items. Users can set the widget to "sold out" or "sorry were closed" from the Central Control Panel, and it comes standard with a sharing option.

Visitors are able to grab the html for the widget from the widget and display it on their own site or blog should they so desire. Initially there are some limitations with the service. For example you only get the choice of one size for the widget, and it currently only supports sales in US dollars.

PayPal though will be seeking user feedback once the program takes off and they are open to expanding the options available in the future.

PayPal sees a lot of possibilities for the widget; for example, it provides a seamless shopfront for bands on MySpace who may want to sell recordings. It may also be a substitute for donation buttons that are occasionally used by bloggers as well.

Heatwave blamed for plummeting branches

Article by Skywatch-Media News

The RECORD-BREAKING heatwave roasting South Australia is being blamed for a string of accidents involving large gum tree branches snapping off and hurtling to the ground.

SES officials were called out more than 20 times in Adelaide over the weekend after branches fell onto roads and smashed into homes and backyards. Experts blame the sweltering temperatures which have soared to over 35C.

The so-called "summer limb drop" happens when trees shed their limbs in a bid to reduce water loss from the trunk.

Victoria is also sweltering with temperatures climbing to 37C.

Melbourne can expect blistering conditions to return on Friday with 37C forecast.

Swine Flu In The Water Supply?

LOS ANGELES (AP) - A dozen students complained of feeling sick after drinking bottled water from a junior high school vending machine, but the FBI said Friday that no sign of tampering was found and initial tests detected no contamination.

Students at La Mesa Junior High School in Santa Clarita complained of nausea or discomfort on Thursday. They were examined at hospitals and released, Principal Pete Fries said Friday.

"It was kind of cloudy and it tasted kind of funny," eighth-grader Cody Commons told KTLA-TV from a hospital Thursday night. "A couple hours later I started feeling cramps."

No additional illnesses were reported Friday, Fries said.

"At this time, there's no evidence that the product was deliberately tampered with," FBI spokeswoman Laura Eimiller said Friday.

Two students came separately to the school office Thursday with bottles of Aquafina brand water and complained of being nauseous, Fries said. The students indicated that they bought the water from a school machine and that the bottles seemed properly sealed but the water inside appeared cloudy and had an odd smell.

Other students polled in classes later complained of illness, Fries said.

In all, the 12 students said they drank from eight bottles, Fries said. Two bottles were recovered.

Field tests on the recovered bottles by a Los Angeles County Fire Department hazardous materials team found no trace of ammonia, chlorine or other contaminants, Eimiller said. She added that further tests were planned at a county lab.

The school buys the water from the manufacturer and stocks the machines, the principal said. He said the machines were shut down, the remaining bottled water was pulled and will be replaced with fresh stock.

Jeff Dahncke, spokesman for The Pepsi Bottling Group, which manufactures Aquafina, said there is no evidence any contamination was caused by the company's manufacturing process.

The company collected bottles from the vending machine and there didn't appear to be any adulteration "from a standpoint of the look of the product and the taste," but more comprehensive testing will be conducted, Dahncke said.

"We view this very much as an isolated incident," he said.

Dahncke said the bottles apparently came from a Pepsi plant in Torrance, Calif., that produced some 5,000 cases of Aquafina in a two-day run. Records on hourly testing during the run revealed no indication of contamination, he said.

Aquafina, a leading brand of bottled water, is bottled at Pepsi plants from public water sources using a seven-step purification process, according to the Aquafina Web site.
